Q. When does the program start and end?
A. We operate on an open enrollment schedule. Students may enroll at any time and stop at any time.
Q. How much does it cost?
A. The program charges a fixed rate of $35 per student per month.
Q. How do I get started?
A. Simply use our contact form to let us know the names and ages of your student(s), as well as the date you would like to begin.
Q. What curriculum do you use?
A. Our program is unique in that we do not use a standardized curriculum. While we do teach basic writing mechanics and concepts, each assignment will be uniquely tailored to meet the individual student’s needs.
Q. Do you grade assignments?
A. We include comments and edit student’s assignments, but we usually do not provide a grade. However, the parent is always welcome to grade their student’s work based on our feedback.
Q. Are your lessons preplanned or are they tailored to each student?
A. We take our students down the same general path. However, each student is different and it takes different assignments to get them there. While the path we take our students on is somewhat preplanned, lessons are written and adjusted to meet the student’s individual needs. They are designed to work with student’s age, ability, weaknesses, and interest.
Q. What kind of writing do you work with?
A. We coach for both creative and essay writing. It is up to the student and parents to decide what they would like to focus on. If you already have a curriculum you have picked out that you would like us to work with, then just let us know.
